【目标预设】
1、能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词a family,thing,need,a horse
2、能听得懂、会说、会读单词Halloween,tomorrow,mask,pumpkin, lantern,vase,
3、能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语What do you need? We need some… What else do you need?..., please. Here’s your change. Do you like…?Yes, I do./No, I don’t. I like… What do you like? I like…
4、让学生通过本课学习，了解万圣节的有关知识，培养学生跨文化交际的意识和能力。
【重点、难点】
重点：1、让学生了解有关万圣节的知识。
2、让学生能初步表演本课所学对话。
难点：1、句型Do you like masks?中可数名词复数的正确使用。
2、单词Halloween,tomorrow,pumpkin,lantern的正确朗读。
【教学过程】
Step1. Greetings and free talk
1. T: Hello boys and girls, How are you today ?
S: We are fine, thank you .
2. T: I like English very much. Do you like English?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: What do you like?
S2: I like…(practice in pairs)
3. T: Do you like animals?
S: Yes, I do.
T: Good. Let’s play a game together.(Listen and guess)
（学习pig，horse ,chicken, duck,引出mask）
用Do you like…? I like horse masks.What masks do you like?与学生对话）
Step2: Presentation
1. Know something about Halloween.
Give some pictures about Halloween party. Introduce the background of Halloween.
2. Teach the sentence “What do you need? We need ….”
It’s very interesting. But what do we need ? (引出need并教授)
Teach some new words and the sentences
T：We need to buy things for the Halloween party.
(学习单词things，要求学生分组讨论所需物品)
Ss： We need some flowers/sweets/masks/pumpkin lanterns.
（引导学生回答，学生回答时出示相应物品的图片，学习有关单词：） 3.与学生交流的过程中学习：What else do you need?
4.课件出示一个购物场景，A mask shop.学生购物。运用购物用语：
A: Can I help you?
B: Some …,please.
A: What masks do you like ?
B: I like…s. I like …s.
A: Here’re your masks.
B: How much are they?
A:… yuan, please.
B: Here you are.
A: Here’s your change
